Meet Our Front Desk Staff
 Alfie Butun has played tennis at the club since 1991 and has worked on the Front Desk since 1993. Alfie often hosts Saturday tennis parties. Sign ups can be found at the Front Desk. You can also speak to Alfie about holding a private party at the club. Originally from Norway, Alfie settled in Madison in 1981. During her free time, she likes to walk, read, cook gourmet food and travel. |

Ann DiCicco has played tennis at the club since 2002 and worked at the Front Desk since 2007. She lives in Guilford with her dog and two cats. Ann has three grown daughters - one lives in Seattle and two live nearby in Branford. Besides playing tennis whenever possible, Ann enjoys working in her greenhouse, cooking and shopping. |
| Beth Hall, who handles customer accounts, grew up in Guilford and now resides in Clinton. She and Matthew, her husband, have two daughters - Emily and Kate. Before starting a family, Beth worked in banking, and in child care at a local fitness center. She enjoys working with children with the joys and challenges they bring and she also loves balancing a complicated bank statement! |

 Jane Hummel has played tennis at the club since 1998, and worked on the Front Desk since 1999. Having started playing tennis in the early 1990's, she now plays 2-3 times per week. She has two children, Jonathan and Sarah. She was born in Guildford, Surrey, England and now lives in Branford. Jane and her husband Gary have lived in England, Scotland, France, Germany and California - they certainly know about cultural diversification. |
Marianne Papa was a member at the club with her four children for years before she joined our weekend Front Desk staff in the Fall of 2006. You will see her some Saturday afternoons and every Sunday morning. |

 Carole Provenzano has played tennis at the club since 1986 and worked on the Front Desk since 1994. She now plays 2 times a week. In 1983, Carole moved from New Jersey to Guilford. She started playing tennis a few years later. She has grown children (all boys!). Outside of tennis, Carole enjoys long walks, sewing and golf. |
 Judy Sokoloff has played tennis since 1994, when she became a member of the club. For four of those years she was a USTA team player. She started working here in 1997. She is very busy working at the office of her husband, Dr. Richard Sokoloff. Originally from Pennsylvania, Judy moved to Connecticut in 1977, and has lived in Guilford since 1982. Judy has two sons, Jason (recently married to Kimberly!) and Derek, who are now working on their careers. Outside of work and tennis, Judy enjoys sewing, needlepoint, knitting and kayaking. She looks forward to traveling more in the future with her husband. |
