Swim Meets 2008 – UPDATED!!!
This is the proposed schedule of swim meets for summer 2008. All meets take place at the opposing team's club. Most meets are scheduled each Saturday with a 9 am warm-up and 9:30am start.*

Practices: Swim Team will begin practice on June 23rd at 8 am.
The first week is COMPLIMENTARY so your children can try it and see if they like it! We think they will!
Practice schedule
11 – 16 yrs old = 8 – 8:45 am
7 – 10 yrs old = 8:45 – 9:30 am
6 years & younger = 9 – 9:30 am
Swim Team costs $85/swimmer, including a pizza party at season's end.
Swim Suits: Metro Swim is coming to the club for swim suit orders on Wednesday, July 2nd (NEW DATE!), right after practice, 9:45-10:30 am. We picked a new suit and ask that all swim team participants purchase it. Metro Swim prefers checks but will also take cash.

Championships July 28th at Ridgetop Club starting at 8:30 am.
Note: Silver Sands and Brownson are METER pools.
Diving will NOT be held anymore.
ALL shallow end relay starts must be from a push-off (no shallow end diving).
Directions to 2008 Swim Meets:
Mill River Country Club
I-95 South to Exit 38 (Merritt Parkway). Follow the Parkway South to exit 53. Off the exit ramp, you will come to a set of lights. Turn left at these lights onto Rte 110 (Main Street). Follow Rte 110 @ 2 miles until you reach a light at the intersection of Rte 110 & 113. At that light, take a right and you will be entering the Mill River Country Club parking lot.
Old Lyme Country Club

From I-95 North, take the Ct-156E Exit (Exit 70). Turn a slight right onto CT-156 (Neck Rd) and continue to follow @ 1.3 miles. Turn left onto McCurdy Road.
Ridge Top Club 203-281-6447

From I-95 North, take Exit 10 (Hamden). Stay in the right lane and get off Exit 1 (Dixwell Ave). At the light, take a left. At the light, take another left onto Hartford Turnpike. Go through 1st light and continue up the hill to the 2nd light. A that light, take a right onto Skiff Street. The Club is 1/10 mile on the right
Silver Sands Beach & Tennis Club 203-468-7263
(from Branford). Rte 1 towards East Haven. Take a left at the light across from the Twin Pines Diner & Rib House. Follow towards the center of East haven. At the 1st light, take a left onto Hemmingway Avenue. Follow this through 2 lights. At the 3rd light, take a right onto Silver Sands Road. Follow to the end and at the stop sign, take a right. The Club is @ 200 yards on the left.
