snacks, sneakers, tennis racquet and swim googles if they prefer wearing them for swimming. Your child will be in charge of their own belongings, so please make sure they have a bag they can manage independently.

Each week includes daily instructional tennis, pickleball, yoga, water time, a variety of group games, arts & crafts, playground time, D.E.A.R (drop everything and read) time, and SPECIAL EVEN FUN FRIDAYS among other activities. Please note that 8:30-9 am is supervised playground time.

GRSC Day Camp runs RAIN or SHINE!

Please send your child DAILY to camp with the following:
sunscreen, towel, bathing suit (they may wear it under their clothes if they would like), NON-GLASS refillable water bottle, snacks, sneakers, tennis racquet and swim googles if they prefer wearing them for swimming. Your child will be in charge of
carrying their own bag at camp, so please make sure it is a manageable size and that all belongings are labeled with their name.
Campers are placed into age-based groups. We will try to put friends together if we are given advance notice and they are within the same age range.

In 2020, we ran camp incorporating significant COVID safety protocols and adjusting our plans to keep everyone active and safe. We will do the same if it appears prudent, in the summer of 2021

Questions?
Please see our FAQ Page.

CIT Program - Will be offered if COVID restrictions are lifted.
Our CIT program is primarily for ages 13 & 14 who are motivated and interested in working with young children. CITs work closely with our older high school and college aged counselors and are supervised/mentored by the adult management staff at GRSC. Day to day tasks include helping with activity set up/break down, helping with aspects of lunch and snack time, leadership in games, motivating campers, and many other things. Those who enroll in the CIT program will go through training with our camp director. CITs can apply and will be chosen based on our need and the fit with our program. While being a CIT is a structured way for young people to work with younger children, learn responsibility and some job skills, it is not a guarantee of a job as a counselor. Most camp counselors are 18 or older when hired. The weekly cost for this program is $50/member and $75/non-member.
