Frequently, your experience at GRSC begins with a complimentary lesson with one of our 7 PTR certified teaching professionals. You can start with instruction or match play. CAPP is 90 minutes of fast paced, fun filled cardio style tennis with 6 players. Five 15 minutes rounds partnered with a different player. Goal is to accumulate highest amount of individual points. You score by hitting clean winners and/or defending the net 3 rallies in a row as defenders. You gain defender status by hitting a clean winner or maintaining 3 consecutive rallies. A comment from a member: "Now that the first summer season is winding down since the beginning of the new dues structure and the various Club upgrades, a few comments I'd like to make: I've really enjoyed the summer's tennis and the court benefits. The club's goal of making it more of a membership club than a pure rental facility seems to be working in that there seems to be more of an ongoing engagement of the tennis playing folk; and I've met lots of nice people in the process of playing Club & USTA events - so congrats on that, I hope it continues to develop. And I appreciate the significant investment the Club has made in the facility, especially in the face of tough economic times. Comparing GRC to the other tennis clubs in the region, you seem to be on top of the heap! The indoor surface, court size, roof height, lights and skylights are all terrific, your pros and staff are all very professional & likeable, and now the variety of facilities sets you apart further from the competition. So, thanks for all the hard work you've done and I look forward to another enjoyable indoor season!
