Why GRSC?

Where to begin? I am going into my 5th year as a member at GRSC and I only have great words to say about it. To start with the members, everyone is friendly on and off the court. The challenges on the courts are absolutely fantastic and the competitiveness is off the charts, all in a family oriented atmosphere with food and drinks shared after every event. The staff at GRSC is amazing, clearly very involved in developing the players and I noticed they are constantly improving their teaching skills through ongoing professional development on court. The indoor courts are always clean, definitely the cleanest and most organized I have ever played on, the outdoor facilities are very well taken care of, the pool and the pool deck have the best atmosphere on the shoreline. -A.S.

Our boys had such an amazing summer! They had so much fun, learned new things, and made new friendships. They just loved pickleball - we even have been playing at home too!


The group of counselors were wonderful, which is a testament to you! We're amazed by how much confidence our younger boy gained in the pool. He’s now swimming in the deeper end, which is such a big boy move for him.  -J.W.

Have you ever walked into a place and the feeling is "ah, yes, this is right"? Sarah and the staff at GRSC have grown a club that is a living caring fun environment. It's coherent, it makes sense. People are truly friendly and the programs are geared to all levels. I've made many friends over the years and look forward to many more years with GRSC. – B.W.

Guilford Racquet & Swim Club is a first class facility, the coaches are exceptional, the staff are all brilliant. Thank you all for giving my son the finest tennis education, his game has improved exponentially! -J.S.

I am loving GRSC. I have been playing a lot of pickleball and found a new love of tennis through skills and drills and a few CAPP sessions. Everyone I have met has been great and welcoming.  -C.V.

I can't thank all of you enough for making GRSC feel like so much more than a tennis club. When I moved here, I didn't know many people, and GRSC quickly became a place where I felt welcomed, encouraged, and connected. I've met some truly incredible people, made friendships I'll always cherish, and created memories that I'll carry with me long after I leave. It's rare to find a community that feels this special, and GRSC will always hold a very special place in my heart. Thank you for everything you've done to create such an amazing community.

GRSC is an amazing facility which provides people of all ages an opportunity to play lifelong sports in a friendly and welcoming environment. My family and I enjoy the many activities and offerings of the club, and have met some of our dearest friends there. The staff goes above and beyond to give people the ultimate in social and athletic experiences. They are always investing back into the club, and make improvements and updates that benefit all. Thank you so much for a wonderful swim season this summer. Our daughter absolutely had the best time and is already looking forward to next summer. All the time you and the other coaches spend is nothing short of incredible.  -K.A.

Guilford Racquet & Swim Club is my “happy place”. I’ve played in a lot of clubs but none compare to this club. Everything is always in tip-top condition, the surfaces are better than any other and I can’t say enough about the lighting. As we age the lighting is very important.


And the people...they are the best. Helpful, knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind. -M.W.
